You CAN Add to Excellence!
Thank you for taking the time to read about how you can make a difference to the students and faculty at St. Thomas the Apostle School. Most people do not realize that tuition does not cover the total cost of educating a child at STES. Your gift to the Annual Fund will directly impact our students and teachers inside and outside the classroom.

Since its founding, St. Thomas faculty and students have benefitted from the generosity of a growing community of parents, alumni, trustees, grandparents, faculty and other friends inside and outside its founding parish.

This tradition of giving is visible on playgrounds, in gardens, books, computers and so many other tangible additions. And it is invisibly present in the shared sense of investment in the learning process that is evident in every part of the St. Thomas approach to education. In addition to assisting with the daily operating costs, each contribution to the Annual Fund helps to attain a high percent of giving to St. Thomas which is a huge plus when we are competing for grants or foundation support. Please make as generous a contribution as possible - quite simply, there is no better way to support the school.

The St. Thomas curriculum is enhanced by hands on learning experiences such as this field trip to "The Old School House" in League City where the students learned how things were done in times gone by, and how things have changed.
All 4th and 5th graders at St. Thomas presented their original poems, summaries or short stories to a gathering of parents and friends at a traditional English tea, complete with authentic English tea cakes and sandwiches.

This occasion provided each student an opportunity to read their work aloud. The audience enjoyed their talent and originality! Well done all...we are very proud of our young authors.
